R/C Helicopters

Electric RC helicopters can be simple or they can be very complex. The cheaper and smaller models are very simplistic. They are usually indoor models and cannot be flown in any kind of wind. They will basically turn into a Frisbee. The bigger and more expensive electric helicopter is usually more complex. They require a gyro and have control of the pitch (up and down), tail rotor as well as side, forward and back controls. If you’re going to try your hand at a larger EP helicopter then I would strongly suggest a flight simulator Great Planes RealFlight 6.5 Heli Edition Mode 2 with InterLink. The simulator will help you learn to control the helicopter. When I started learning to fly a helicopter back in the 90’s I purchased the Kalt Enforcer ZR. I attached a hula hoop to the skids and I learned to hover that way. Since these models can run into the $$$$ it would be advised to make your mistakes on the computer first.
