Blade Pico QX Review

The Blade Pico QX is one of many small quads on the market. It is an indoor quad copter, but you can fly it outside when there is no wind. My review is one of many so I would suggest that you look at other reviews before you make an educated decision. I usually like to look at reviews on Amazon. They have a pretty good participation rate on their products. I will rate the Blade Pico QX a 3 from a scale of 1 to 10.

Pros

  • It is light weight.
  • Comes with a set of spare blades
  • It has a simple USB charger.
  • The transmitter is charged from the USB charger.
  • It has bumper guards on each blade.
  • Extra motors and Blade can be purchased

Cons

  • The instructions print is a little to small to read for us old guy’s, That includes the instructions on the website.
  • The Pico Qx lost the bind on the transmitter after 15 feet and kept on flying ( I had to chase it down to get control).
  • The response was a little to jerky.
  • 3 of the 4 motors quit working after 6 flights.

I don’t believe that there will ever be a product that is 100% perfect for each unit produced so please do your home work and base your decision  on the ratio of good and poor product reviews. I may have purchased the one sub pare product out of a million.

Happy Flying
